Beautifully designed in European style, the Paghman garden resembles the same style. Many of the garden’s buildings were built by German and French architects in western Kabul. Unfortunately, the Paghman garden of Kabul turned from a place of peace to a place of of war as it formed into battleground for the Mujaheddins. Although some remains of the Paghman garden still exist it has lost much of its original style.
